BILLINGS CLINIC GOES WITH SPEECH PROFESSIONAL


Billings Clinic has purchased SpeechProfessional, including SpeechServers™ for Dragon, as an add-on to their digital dictation and transcription system.  The speech recognition text is edited with a transcriptionist foot control using the SpeechMax™ text editor and speech processor.  Market Partner Western Office Equipment generated the sale. 

COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY EXPANDS SPEECH PROFESSIONAL PROJECT

Columbia University biomedical informatics program has expanded its pilot project to transcribe physician telephone queries for medical using server-based speech recognition with SpeechProfessional with SpeechServers™ for Dragon.  It now includes back-end, automated training with repetitive SpeechTrainer adaptation, a feature included with SpeechServers™.    

acWAVE FOR AUDIO CONVERSION

DialAmerica Marketing is a large, privately-owned telemarketing company.   Seeking a solution for efficient audio conversion, the company recently purchased multiple licenses for acWAVE standalone and batch processor.

TELEPHONE DICTATION WITH CALLDICTATE

CallDictate™ telephone dictation is available as a software or PC solution.  A New York City law firm recently placed an order for a preconfigured CallStation™ PC system with a 16-port card.  Many of its lawyers dictate from cell phones.  Among its features, the system supports easy reentry into the dictation audio if the cellular network drops the call. 

SYNCHRONIZED TEXT AND AUDIO FOR AUDIO BOOKS

ReadingWare is a 2006 recipient of a Small Business Innovation Research grant from the National Education Center for Research of the Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education. It recently purchased SweetSpeech™ SpeechSplitter™ and SpeechMax™ for preparation of text and speech data for its audio books.
