The Edit menu contains two submenus File Information and Options.

The File Information menu allows you to save various information within the audio file.

The Use as Defaults button will set the current information as the default information. Clicking Apply Defaults will load the default information.
The Options menu contains the interface to set and change the configuration of CustomMike.

The first tab, Input, is used to select the device to use to control CustomMike. Use the Configure button to configure the device, and the Test button to test the device. Use the Recording tab to setup various recording options of CustomMike.

Audio Device, is used to select the sound card.
Recording Source, is used to select the recording source.

Tip: Be sure that the microphone is plugged into the microphone port on your sound card.
Other Options:
Auto-Calibrate Volume - CustomMike will automatically adjust the microphone's volume.
Pause on Silence - stop recording when there is silence.
Move playback to start of recording - moves the audio playback position to the beginning of the audio that was just recorded.
Use SIMPLE Overwrite Mode (no markers) - With this option checked, when using the overwrite mode, you will not be required to use markers to define the section to be overwritten. The audio will be overwritten starting at the current audio playback position.
New File Format - used to setup file type defaults for files.
General, allows you to reset the Previous Files list in the File menu, by clicking the Reset File List button.
