There are three main sections of the main interface; the menus, the toolbar, and the status bar.

Menu
The main menus are File, Edit, Media, View, and Help.
The Media menu allows you to select a function from a menu, as well as use the hot keys.

Record (Overwrite) |

Records over selected audio. In order to use the overwrite function, you need to mark the beginning location of what you wish to overwrite. This is done with the Mark Beginning and Mark End buttons. To overwrite audio, follow these simple steps: Step 1: Press the Mark Beginning button when the audio playback position is where you wish to start overwriting, and the Mark End button when the audio playback position is where you wish to stop overwriting. CustomMike should look something like this:
Step 2: Press the Record (Overwrite) button.

Status Bar
The status bar contains information on which device is being used to control CustomMike, and the recording position of when recording audio. There is also a button that opens the File Information window.
