Patented and patents pending multiwindow, multilingual HTML SpeechMax™ text editor is a desktop solution for voice, text, audio, images, and multimedia. It comes in three editions:

The "Full" edition includes all features. "Multimedia"
and "Reader" applications have limited features, as indicated
in the various Help sections. Generally,
the inactivated menu or toolbar items in "Multimedia" and "Reader"
will be "grayed" out, indicating that the feature is not available.
The
"Reader" has the fewest activated features.
The "Full" edition includes may be used for dictation, transcription, speech recognition, text to speech, translation, phonetics, linguistics, other speech and language processing, and multimedia. It is designed primarily for businesses. It includes Talking Form™ for interactive, structured dictation, and My AV Notebook™. AV Notebook™ features are available in both the "Full" and "Multimedia" editions. Both editions can be used to create session and other files with text, audio, and/or image content.
The "Multimedia" edition
(My AV Notebook™)
is designed primarily for home or personal use and includes basic text
editing, creation of embedded multimedia linked to text or speech, and
features for organization and retrieval of session files. Use the "Multimedia"
edition to create customized audio books, electronic scrapbook, oral history,
lectures, speeches, sales presentations, group singalongs,
karaoke, teaching and training aids, and other presentations with audio-linked
text. You can also use this to organize and manage your preexisting multimedia,
audio, graphics, video, and other files.
The "Reader" supports
read of session and other files, visualization of graphics and images,
and playback of audio, including speech and music. "Reader"
functionality is defined by a license-embedded lock that is designed to
limit a user's ability to save modifications to a session file.
The "Full" and "Multimedia" editions support optional user creation of a passkey to lock
a session or other file for document protection. This
feature is designed to prevent unauthorized saving of a modified file.
With the
"Full" and "Multimedia" editions, a second user can
enter the passkey and open and modify the original file. However,
a user with the "Reader" edition cannot unlock the file, even
if he/she knows the passkey. Using
the "Full" and "Multimedia" editions, a portable,
locked session file can be created using a variety of third-party applications,
such as Dragon, IBM, or Microsoft speech recognition, for example.

manager, document retrieval, and time tracking system, CallDictate™ telephone
dictation server, SpeechServers™ server-based
