acWAVE™ is an audio format conversion utility available for standalone or server. It uses Windows Media Player*. The text-to-speech component SpeechPreferred™ also permits conversion of text to audio. This powerful utility can be used with a variety of SAPI 5 compliant text-to-speech engines.

*Windows Media Player comes with Microsoft operating systems. The most recent version can be downloaded FREE from the Microsoft web site (www.microsoft.com). Before downloading, determine that the version is appropriate for your operating system. Some Windows 95 and NT systems do not support the Media Player upgrade included in the software.
